I initially was only interested in the tinted sunscreen lotion but bought the set because it was a good value. The tinted sunscreen leaves a bit of a white cast on me and feels very heavy on the skin. I thought the balm/butter would be too heavy and planned to give it away. I tried it (first time you have to really rub to break the seal), and it went on heavy but spread and blended so nicely. It didn’t feel heavy and provided a dewy finish, like a high quality makeup. I couldn’t believe it. I took it off at night with makeup remover, and there is definitely a lot of product on, but I could barely tell on my skin. I would definitely buy the butter/balm again but not the lotion. For reference I have medium skin with yellow undertones.
Rating 3 stars for the lotion and 5 stars for the butter, overall 4 stars. Someone mentioned expiration date, so I just checked. The lotion expires in 5 months (hmm), but the butter not for 2 years. Not sure I like that I got shipped old product on the lotion…

It’s a tad dark for me, anyone know if you can mix the tinted with non-tinted for a lighter “tint”?

We have heard from some customers that they’ve mixed our Tinted and Sport/Kid’s sunscreens to come to a lighter color. It sounds like a 2:1 Tinted to non-tinted ratio is a good place to start. I hope that helps!

I never wear makeup but this product might change my mind. No white chalky ghost look, just a super smooth tint that blends in really well. It’s not drying and stays on in the water well.

Love the tinted sunscreen butter. My skin looks better with it on than off. Feel so good about putting it on, I mean, look at the incredibly great ingredients. Don’t worry about leaving it on my skin.
I use it when I surf. Stays on as listed at least 80 minutes. So glad I found this product and company.

I have Discoid Lupus. The sun is what triggers a “flare up”. I had to find a safe product I can use on a daily basis… around florescent lights and year round sun protection. I found it! I ride my motorcycle all the time and found the tinted SPF 30 does the trick. No more red rash on my face. When you do 1500-2000 miles on a motorcycle during vacation your exposed to the sun at it’s peak. My search is over… this is it!
