Question
Zerowasteruth@gmail.com –
Is the 3oz or any other travel size tubes refillable? Is the opening wide enough so that I can refill using the 16oz or gallon pump?
Upvote if this was helpful (0) Downvote if this was not helpful (0) Watch Unwatch Flag for removal
Alaya Hartford –
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us! That’s a great question.
Our smaller tubes are not specifically designed to be refilled, so I imagine that process could be a bit difficult. The opening at the top of our sunscreen tubes is quite small, so I don’t think refilling from a gallon jug would be the easiest process. If you’re going to refill your sunscreen tubes I would recommend investing in a small funnel to help expedite the process.
Please feel free to reach out to me at Info@allgoodproducts.com if you have any additional questions!
All the best,
Alaya

I noticed this has an expiration date; as this is not chemically based can you tell me what expires in the product?
Upvote if this was helpful (0) Downvote if this was not helpful (0) Watch Unwatch Flag for removal
Jenny (verified owner) –
Hi Kaitlin,
The FDA requires an expiration date to be listed for products with SPF. We determine our expiration date based on the stability tests and SPF efficacy tests we conduct on our products that are within those FDA requirements.

Hi Terry,
Our sunscreens are not certified vegan, however, all of our products are Leaping Bunny Certified. Meaning we and the companies we contract with do not conduct product testing on animals. This specific sunscreen lotion does not contain any ingredients from animals. I would like to note, that our Lip Balms, All Good Goop, SPF 50+ Sunscreen Butter Tins and Sticks, and our SPF 30 Sunsticks do contain beeswax.

Can I use this on my 10 month old baby?

Jenny (verified owner) –
Hi Zoe!
Yes, you can! According to FDA guidelines, our sunscreen can be used on infants 6 months or older. We have an SPF 30 Kid’s Sunscreen Lotion that many customers like to use for their little ones, as well. It includes chamomile, unlike our SPF 30 Sport Mineral Sunscreen, which helps to soothe sensitive skin.

Are the non-nano zinc particles coated for increased stability?

Hi Rye,
We do not coat our non-nano zinc since we’ve found there are potential environmental and health hazards associated with coated zinc oxide.

Stumbled across this product on sale at a discount chain store. Bought & tried it and I like it. Like the fact that it is a physical sunscreen and feels very moisturizing yet provides good coverage.

does this product leave a white cast on dark skin?
Upvote if this was helpful (0) Downvote if this was not helpful (0) Watch Unwatch Flag for removal
Pancho –
Hi Shri,
If one rubs our Sunscreen Lotion in without applying too much, it leaves a silvery sheen on one’s skin rather than a white cast. We have received feedback from dark and olive skinned customers that our Tinted SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion blends in better with their skin tones.
Hope that’s helpful 🙂

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. We went to a ballgame yesterday and were in direct sunlight for the whole game. The ballpark doesn’t allow aerosol cans so we brought this cream instead. Although we had already applied a different brand at the house we were already starting to turn red within the first 10 minutes of sitting down. So we applied this sunscreen and neither of us have a sunburn today. I can’t say the same for our friend who opted for a different brand.
I’m amazed. Buying some more for our trip soon!

It’s hard to run into my skin it’s like as soon as I put it on I have too be quick or else it will dry super quick. It feels good though but if only it was easier to rub in.

Is this one safe for babies and toddlers?

Pancho –
Hi Gina. Our our Sport sunscreen is perfectly suitable for everyone in your family. Our Kid’s sunscreen lotions contain Chamomile Extract, which can have a soothing effect on sensitive skin. Beyond that, the two sunscreen lotions are identical and will protect one’s skin in the same way.
Please consult with consult with your pediatrician before using any of our products on little ones younger than 6 months old.

I received this product in a subscription box. I love that it is reef friendly and a mineral sunscreen. After using it everyday for the past 2-3 months, I sadly cannot use it anymore due to a rash that has developed wherever I applied it. The product also dries out the skin, even with the use of a cream lotion. It does apply thick and sticky with an aroma (a pasty food-type smell?), but it blends out. Sadly, the rash is a deal breaker.

After a lot of money spent trying to find toxin free sunscreen this is it! Compared to almost every other sunscreen I’ve tried this has a very minimal whitecast, it’s honestly barely noticeable! Very happy with the product, will be repurchasing love the size of the tube!!

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. For my skin type (fair), it lasts most of a day whether I’m golfing, hiking or working in the garden. To know it’s also more environmentally friendly is a big bonus.

I love All Good’s sunscreen. I’ve tried other all natural sunscreen with zinc and they are really difficult to rub in to where you don’t look like a ghost. All Good rubs in pretty nice and stays in there. I go bodyboarding pretty often and I never get sunburnt.
I feel good about the sunscreen is reef safe. Altogether it’s my favorite sunscreen and the only one I use now.

We’ve been using this all over the Mediterranean and it’s been perfect! My husband did comment on the slightly not-so-pleasant scent (he’s not at all into the chemical free life on his own accord), but the smell is completely gone once it’s rubbed in. And he only commented the very first use so it’s really not bad at all. For an artificial fragrance free product you certainly shouldn’t expect it to smell like the chemical laden coconut ones! Wish I’d gotten more than the 2 tubes when I ordered! Thanks for a great product, All Good!

Good application, benign smell, blended in well. I was skeptical of effectiveness at 30spf. We spent almost two hours in the full sun on the beach by the water. Effectiveness of this sunscreen was evidenced by the small triangular angry red burn, clearly defined, where I missed application. The rest of my stomach was fine, with the skin gaining only a tinge of color. I am a believer!

I bought this for a Caribbean vacation. I was very impressed with the sunscreen overall. I bought both the spray and the lotion. The doesn’t have the same white cast as the spray. A little goes a long way. Best to apply when the lotion is warm and you are dry, but you skin moisturized. It is a bit sticky to begin with, but that goes away. Does rub in clear after some rubbing and does its job. Just make sure to reapply like any other sunscreen. I didn’t after 3 hours in the water I got a bit burned. Also bonus no real smell! Nothing tropical or coconutty.

We were looking for an all natural sunscreen that goes on without the thick white sheen associated with so many other brands. This one seems to go on without too much of that chalkiness. The fact that it wont harm the coral reefs is essential.

Fantastic product – it goes on a bit sticky, but that goes away after a little while. I have sensitive, reactive skin and this feels great, no heat, no stinging. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the All Good website is one of the most expensive places to buy it!

This is a very good product, and I like the texture, but l just bought a new tube a month or so ago and it’s already separating. I’m hoping this is just the oils separating and that the product is still good (expiration date is 5/19), so I am shaking it and using it. Fingers crossed.

I guess it is kind of weird to get excited about a sunscreen but as someone who lives outdoors, this product is worthy of getting excited about. The new formula is a lot smoother and creamier than the old and goes on easier. It has less zinc so you don’t get the pale dead look and rubs away to clear quickly. I have used it kayaking for several hours and never re-applied and did not get burned so it definitely is waterproof and it works. Love that it is environmentally friendly and since the environment looks like it is going to take a big hit in the next few years, we should all do our small part to help. I love all of the products from AG but especially love the new sunscreens.
