Description

We love a sunscreen stick. We love it more when it’s made from non-nano zinc oxide and skin-saving certified organic oils like jojoba, coconut and avocado. The combo is water-resistant, reef friendly sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays – and is still gentle enough for sensitive skin and ecosystems. Thanks to an organic oil and mineral formula, this sunscreen acts as a skincare moisturizer while still protecting against sunburn, harmful UV rays, break-outs and sun damage.

reef friendly

Unlike conventional chemical sunscreens that are harmful to humans and marine life, All Good mineral sunscreen products are made with the active ingredient, zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is a topical, non-nanoparticle, mineral-based ingredient that sits on top of your skin and won’t absorb into your body; it is one of only two ingredients that has been FDA-approved for general recognition of safety and effectiveness (GRASE)*. All or our All Good reef-friendly suncare products meet broad-spectrum FDA standards and reef safe criteria. Our ingredients do not include chemical UV absorbers, parabens or harmful additives (and especially no octinoxate, oxybenzone, and the other chemicals in the “Awful Eight”).

*The FDA is asking for more safety data on 12 additional active sunscreen ingredients in order to determine whether they can be classified as GRASE. We’ll do our best to keep you informed as soon as we hear more!

I bought this two pack primarily for lip protection while on the water. It turns out the sticks are big enough that they can be used for face coverage as well in a pinch. The coconut is strong and instantly reminds me of surf trips and warm beaches. It stays on well and so far has worked very well to protect my skin.

I kayak and my bike and this stick is the perfect size to fit in a Pfd or pack pocket. Goes on clear and lasts in the water and won’t sweat off.
