One of my favorite brands, Elta MD changed their formulation for their sunscreen. Before I bought it, I saw that it said same product new formulation and since I do always read such things I noticed Elta had a very non friendly reef ingredient that even some states have banned.
So I began my research, and because I love using Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide I wanted at least the Zinc without all the other bad ingredients.
“Good Body Care” mineral sunscreen has the zinc and so I read the reviews and felt that the ingredients are what I was looking for in a sunscreen.
The sunscreen did not disappoint. It’s everything: reef friendly, human friendly and zinc with hydrating properties.
It is winter, but I still always use sunscreen so although I can’t test it in the water, I do go to the gym and sweat and find it holds up to that test.
I am able to effortlessly apply the sunscreen and it blends right into my skin with no white cast. Sometimes I apply it a little heavier on a very sunny day and although a very faint cast it disappears. It does not interfere with my makeup at all.
One of the other main reasons I bought this was because of the pump. No spray and no squeezing a bottle just an effortless pump that delivers the sunscreen. I am super happy with this sunscreen and so glad I found it during my research.
